Charity work over the years
We are keenly involved in fundraising initiatives locally and nationally, and encourage our staff to make and take the time to give back.
Below are some of our recent activities.
SJP Charitable Foundation: Scottish Borders Walk
For the SJP Charitable Foundation Big Walk 10th Anniversary, we took on two countries in two days! A challenging 31-mile-long distance walk through the stunning Scottish Borders. All the participants raised just over £23,000, with the support from some of our clients, friends and family.
With its rich history and stunning scenery, the Scottish-English border was the perfect place for an adventure, while raising money for the SJP Charitable Foundation. It was a great opportunity to experience some of the very best of the UK.
Hands on Project: Building an outdoor classroom
Here’s some pictures from a project we supported at King James Academy Royston’s Millennium Field. We helped build a new outdoor classroom and established paths in the field so pupils from both sites can be connected in one shared space and use it for lessons and activities surrounded by nature.
In addition to this, St. James's Place and HandsOn built a new playground equipment for the younger pupils that include monkey bars, balance beams and a traverse wall!
